Re: BYOM v6.0 officially launched + stdDEB package
27 June another update to v 6.2. Mainly repair of a few errors in the calculation of ECx and EPx when using parameters that differ between data sets. Also extended the functionality of the “zero variate data” so that it can be used to make simple predictions (with CI) as well,

Re: CI Output for BCF, ku and ke (TK)
Well, it turned out to be not too complex to modify the functionality for zero-variate data points. So BYOM will now automatically plot CIs on the model prediction for the zero-variate data point, when it is available. This is only done when using the function calc_and_plot, and only when it is call...

Re: CI Output for BCF, ku and ke (TK)
A standard 1-compartment TK model has 2 parameters, so you cannot change the model in BYOM to make it 3. You have a choice which 2 parameters to use (ke and ku, or ke and BCF, or even ku and BCF). The third variable will then be a model output. So, technically, you would need to propagate the uncert...

Re: BYOM v6.0 officially launched + stdDEB package
On April 1 (no joke), I have released a small update to version 6.1. Changes are explained in the version log, as usual.

BYOM v6.0 officially launched + stdDEB package
After several beta versions (including the one used for the 2021 DynModTox course), I have now released a version that gets the official v6.0 designation. There's been a lot of changes, relative to the previous official version 5.2. Most importantly, support for the parallel-processing toolbox and e...

Re: Are DEBtox models applicable for acute exposure data?
For validation, you can be a bit more flexible since you would not need to fit the model to the data set. However, for a convincing proof that the calibrated model can predict something, you would still need to be able to see effects. If the test is too short to really spot effects on growth and rep...

Re: BYOM v6.0 BETA 7 launched
Plus all major packages updated to work with BYOM 6.0. I am working on a number of new packages, resulting from recent projects, but that takes a bit more work.

BYOM v6.0 BETA 7 launched
Today, I released BYOM v. 6.0 BETA 7 through the website: http://debtox.info/byom.html. This is a small update from the BETA 6 version. I expect this to be close to finished for 'official release'. Some testing of advanced features is going on the next few weeks, so I wait for that.

Re: Are DEBtox models applicable for acute exposure data?
So, you're using "acute" strictly as a measure of test duration, and not to mean "short term survival", I guess (there is often confusion about this in ecotox). In that case, I would define "acute" not as an absolute time period but relative to the life cycle of the spe...
