Re: Sensitivity analysis function

Great, thanks for your answer! Regarding damage, I was asking about the choice in the paper of using relative sensitivity. I expected the same line of argumentation you used for survival (i.e., GUTS e-book, Section 7.5 ) also applies to damage. However, this is not discussed in the book or the paper...

Re: Sensitivity analysis function

Hi Tjalling, I worked through the function today and it wasn't that bad actually. I was more thrown off by the code part for the plotting , but eventually I understood the function and figured out how to adjust the settings  . The model I am doing the SA for is a "new" model...

Re: How to retrieve simulation data

Hi Tjalling, How to retrieve the simulation data points? It appears that there is only figure provided. Hi Haotian and everyone interested in this topic, I am not a big MATLAB expert but I also needed to retrieve the simulated data from the generated plots before. My solution was to extract the dat...

Sensitivity analysis function

Hi Tjalling and DebTox community, I would like to use the sensitivity analysis function in BYOM. calc_localsens(par,opt_sens) I used it during the course, and unfortunately, I don't remember all of it anymore. Thus, I was wondering if there is documentation of this function somewhere that I could co...

Re: Are DEBtox models applicable for acute exposure data?

Thanks Tjalling! :) I think you made some good points. I would be interested if you can dig something up. Or maybe someone else reading this remembers a study example. Another angle to this question is, whether it makes sense to use "acute" data for validation. I guess this should not be s...

Are DEBtox models applicable for acute exposure data?

Hi colleagues, I realized that DEBtox models seem to use only datasets of chronic exposures. This makes sense, as the response to a stressor develops over time and when the time of observation is shorter than the time to the (measurable) effect, it will be difficult to fit a DEBtox model. But I gues...
