New version "Modelling essentials" e-book (and others as well!)

Feel free to make announcements here: workshops, (sessions in) conferences, interesting papers, databases, etc. Anything goes as long as it is TK/TKTD related.

New version "Modelling essentials" e-book (and others as well!)

Post by Tjalling »

Today, I released an update of the e-book "Mechanistic modelling essentials" that was also used for the 2021 course. Participants to the course should have received an email from Leanpub about this new version. If you have downloaded the e-book from Leanpub, you are also entitled to download all new versions for free.

I am planning to add more chapters to the book in the future, so hopefully there will be a new version in 2023.

My other e-books have now been updated end of 2022 as well. It has been a while, for most books, so it was time to include new publications, to correct broken links, and to clarify a few points. The DEBkiss e-book received a reworking of the chapters on toxicokinetics and toxicant effects. This material was a bit fragmented in the previous version.

Both the DEBtox (Making sense of ...) and GUTS (Modelling survival ...) e-books require some more updating. Especially with some more (and up to date) case studies. But this can wait till next year. I also expect some papers to come out in 2023/2024 that would be important to include in the e-books.
